KTWU Local Program Follows Up on Series CANCER: NOW WHAT?

KTWU will present an additional program to the Ken Burns CANCER: EMPEROR OF ALL MALADIES that was shown this past week. On Tuesday, April 7, 2015 on Digital Channel 11.1 at 8 p.m., a viewer-interactive discussion happening live from the KTWU studio titled “Cancer: Now What?” will bring the community together to discuss and address their cancer-related questions and concerns.  “Cancer: Now What?” will discuss issues related to cancer, with several different groups of experts, including doctors, researchers, cancer survivors, and caregivers.  Topics for discussion include “Coping with Cancer”, “Latest in Research/Treatment”, “Caregiving”, “Post Cancer Care & Support”, and the “Survivor Perspective”. KTWU viewers will be encouraged to submit their questions during the live show via e-mail, phone, Facebook and Twitter.

All -new FATHER BROWN series continues on KTWU! Mark Williams (Harry Potter films) stars as a priest with a gift for solving crimes, set in the picture-perfect village of Kembleford in the 1950s. His compassion helps him see into the hearts of people on both sides of the law. Inspired by the short stories of G. K. Chesterton.  The new series is broadcast on Saturdays, at 8 PM, on KTWU-HD, Digital Channel 11.1.
