Lights, Camera, Auction 2013! KTWU’s fun weekend of great buys and bargains is coming up November 8 – 10. Viewers won’t want to miss out on hundreds of items donated by local merchants and national sponsors in support of local public television.
There’s excitement during the auction with online bidding. Bidders can go to the ktwu.org homepage and click on the ‘online auction’ title. That will take viewers to the AUCTION 2013 site. Now anyone can pick a category such as Entertainment, Sports and more and see the items that have been donated to help local public television.
A great advantage is early bidding as anyone can visit the online site and start bidding right now, without waiting for the item to be previewed on television. Online bidding gives the opportunity to set a proxy bid and not having to make arrangements to be watching the live program, at the right time, to catch the right item.
Viewers can tune in to the live on-air auction and keep track of bidding on KTWU. Lights, Camera, Auction 2013! airs on KTWU-HD, Digital Channel 11.1, on Friday, November 8 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring great sports items. The auction then continues on Saturday, November 9 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a variety of great and unique items. The auction fun concludes on Sunday, November 10 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with the Major Donor Items sell-off beginning at 7 p.m.
