I’VE GOT ISSUES
AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE: Is There Such a Thing?

Wednesday, March 30, 7 p.m.

KTWU’s “I’VE GOT ISSUES” takes on the topic of Health Care in an unprecedented 3-month mini-series. Concentrating on the issues Americans are facing, the March, April and May programs will deal with this specific topic.

Hosted by Maureen Mahoney, the first program will examine the Affordable Care Act (the federal health reform law) and the attributes and potential pitfalls that come with it.

The President says his opponents call it a job crushing, granny threatening, budget busting monstrosity. Why are people so divided over the Act? What’s good about it? What are the criticisms? And how does it affect each of us?

Guest interviews will include experts in this field including United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius. Also participating in the March program is Judy Baker, Kansas Regional Director for Health and Human Services.
